This kind
of treatment removes pollutants
(such as suspended solids,
metals, emulsions and color)
through chemical reactions of
coagulation and flocculation.
The objective of the
chemical-physical treatment is
to change the state of the
pollutants in the water into a
form easy to be separated.
Chemical addition causes the
clumping of the particulate
pollutants (such as turbidity
particles, emulsion agents,
etc.) into larger particles.
Inorganic sludge is easily
separated from treatment water
by a setting unit. |

Beside the
common chemicals as lime and
aluminum & iron salts, TDFC
proposes other products specific
for the application and the
wastewater to be treated. TDFC
also designs Fenton oxidative
treatment plants, with strong
chemical degradation obtained
through H 2 O 2. |
